Vacancies open for health professionals in the DSEI Bahia, Ceará, Kaiapó do MT and Xingu
The Special Secretariat of Indigenous Health (SESAI), of the Ministry of Health, has open positions for hiring indigenous health professionals. They will provide basic health services in the Special Indigenous Health Districts (DSEI) of Bahia, Ceará, Kaiapó do Mato Grosso and Xingu. The vacancies are for nursing technicians, building technicians, dentists, pharmacists and general practitioners. Registration must be made on the site of the partner institutions responsible for the selection processes.
It is not a public contest, the hiring is under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) regime, and the candidates need to go through three stages: registration, curricular and title analysis, and interview. Indigenous professionals receive a higher score in the evaluation. Salaries vary from R$2,580.83 to R$16,543.78.
The vacancies are for immediate start and reserve register formation. The hiring is carried out by the contracted entities that provide human resources services to the Districts.
The activities of the indigenous health professional are complex and require understanding of the broad concept of health, which demands attention to different aspects, including sociocultural, economic, geographical, logistical, epidemiological conditions, and traditional health practices, according to the guidelines of the National Policy for the Health Care of Indigenous Peoples (PNASPI).
The health professionals make up the Multidisciplinary Indigenous Health Teams (EMSI) which provide basic services directly in the villages. Candidates must have the availability to work in shifts and to travel to indigenous areas in various river, road and air means.
