SESAI opens vacancies for health professionals to work in Kayapó villages
The Special Secretariat of Indigenous Health (SESAI), of the Ministry of Health, through the entity Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina (SPDM), is hiring professionals to work in the Special Indigenous Health Districts (DSEI) Kaiapó do Mato Grosso and Kaiapó do Pará. Salaries vary from R$2,567.55 to R$16,543.78. Applications can be made until May 31 at website of the partner institution responsible for the process.A general practitioner, two nurses, and four nursing technicians will be hired to form the Rapid Response Team to fight Covid-19 in villages in Mato Grosso. A sanitation technical supporter will also be hired to work in the implementation of sanitation actions, preferably an engineer or a chemist, in villages in Pará. The professionals will be trained by the entity to provide basic health services while respecting indigenous cultures and traditions. Candidates will go through three stages: a résumé analysis, an online interview, and a test (optional). This is not a public contest, and the hiring is under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) regime. The vacancies are for immediate start and reserve register formation. Indigenous people will have priority in the selection process, receiving a higher score in the evaluation criteria.
