DSEI Leste de Roraima, Mato Grosso do Sul and Alto Rio Negro have positions for Indigenous Health
To expand the services for the indigenous population of the Special Indigenous Sanitary Districts (DSEI), the Special Secretariat of Indigenous Health (SESAI), of the Ministry of Health, has open positions to hire health professionals and sanitation and building technicians for the DSEI Leste de Roraima, DSEI Mato Grosso do Sul and DSEI Alto Rio Negro. The vacancies are for immediate start and reserve register formation.
The vacancies are for high school education, complete technical education and higher education levels. It is not a public contest, the professionals will be hired under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) regime, and the candidates must go through three stages: registration, curricular and title evaluation, and an interview. SESAI provides basic health services to a population of 755,000 indigenous people through 34 Districts. There are 20.5 thousand contracted workers, of which 14.6 thousand are health professionals who make up Multidisciplinary Indigenous Health Teams (EMSI) with doctors, dentists, nurses, nursing technicians, oral health assistants, indigenous health agents (AIS), indigenous sanitation agents (AISAN), among others.
Since 2020, SESAI has changed its criteria for contracted companies to carry out their selection processes. In addition to more transparency, there is exclusive scoring for indigenous people. They receive a higher score during the curricular and title evaluation, and are given priority in case of a tie-breaker.
