Ceara DSEI delivers disposable masks to the villages of the Kaninde people
The Ceara DSEI team delivered disposable masks to the villages of the Kaninde people with the support of the Aratuba City Hall this Friday (5/8). The region has 9 confirmed cases among the indigenous people. The orientation is that they wear the masks when leaving home and wash their hands frequently to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
The Ceara DSEI offers basic healthcare to 104 villages with a population of 45,700 indigenous people. The Indigenous Health Multidisciplinary Teams are working to prevent contagion among the village population.
