DSEI Maranhão signs a term of receipt of equipment donated by Vale S/A
An important day for the DSEI Maranhão. On Monday (April 25), in the presence of the Special Secretary of Indigenous Health, Reginaldo Ramos Machado, and the Director of SESAI, Luana Vasconcelos, the coordinator of the DSEI Maranhão, Alberto José, signed the receipt of the equipment donated by Vale S/A for the implementation of the Indigenous Health Cycles program, in partnership with the Center for the Promotion of Health (CEDASP), which will qualify the offer of medium complexity health care in the Santa Inês and Zé Doca Base Poles.
In all, there are 170 pieces of equipment, such as a gynecological stretcher, ophthalmoscope, otoscope, computers, tablets, among others. According to Secretary Reginaldo Ramos Machado, the use of innovation and technology provides SESAI with more resoluteness and optimization of means and resources.
Until the 30th, the Vale Foundation and CEDASP will hold workshops to train the Poles´ professional teams.
